Collected Information
There are 2 ways that Rush Hour collects user information. The user provides information voluntarily, and the system collects information from the user’s device. All info is kept in a secure location. Every user has a right to know what the system captures so that they can take the necessary precautions for their information:
- User Identity – Name, address, country and region, and language;
- User contact information – Email and phone number; the phone number is used to trace the user’s account in case they lose it;
- User device information – The user’s IP address, the type of browser they are using, their operating system, and the resolution of their computer screen;
- User Financial records – A record of every transaction, all the amounts in the user account, all the user’s cash out requests, and the method the user has used to make the payment;
- Metrics – The user’s bet history, the cities and cameras they preferred, the result of the rounds they played, and how their balance changed.
Usage of Information
Game operation relies on collected data. For Rush Hour, this information is crucial for primary operation. The system processes data for four reasons:
- Video Streaming – Adapts to the device and connection for optimal bitrate;
- Financial Processing – Local region deposits and withdrawals are processed as financial transactions;
- Fraud Detection – Unusual activity or AI abuse attempts are detected through betting patterns;
- Customer Support – Payment delays, stream issues, and technical malfunctions are resolved.
Cookies and Tracking
Bet phases and video playback are designed to keep players connected, and tracking technologies enhance gameplay and diminish disruptions. Streaming quality is based on analytics cookies. Failures of vital systems are avoided through the use of these technologies, and stream interruptions are minimized.
| Tracking Type | Function |
|---|---|
| Necessary Cookies | Maintains login sessions and connection stability across consecutive rounds |
| Analytics Cookies | Records which city feeds players select most often to improve stream quality |
| Marketing Cookies | Stores betting preferences and amounts to show relevant promotional offers |
| Device Identifiers | Optimizes video bitrate for mobile versus desktop screens based on connection type |
CCTV and AI Privacy
Rush Hour has access to live feeds from CCTV systems operating legally and publicly around the globe. These resources are partnered with commercial entities, and public cameras with live streaming capabilities have access to the internet. Their AI analyzes and counts the number of vehicles, buses, and motorcycles, and separates each group as they cross designated lines. The AI does not have the ability to track or analyze people, and the license plates of vehicles are not collected or identified. It simply counts vehicles and does not store or track any personal data about the drivers or occupants of a vehicle.
The video feed of the crossing is analyzed in real time, but the feed is not archived or streamed for the purpose of subsequent review and analysis. The design of the system allows for the use of live feeds from public CCTV cameras without the creation of personal data profiles. Users can interact with the game while observing, in real time, an actual road without privacy concerns relative to the people traveling on the road.
Security and Safety
All user data is encrypted and maintained in a secure multipoint geographically redundant system. The data and communications between a user and the Rush Hour game are end-to-end SSL encrypted. The game has no access to any user financial information and is governed by privacy and financial protection regulations. Rush Hour implemented robust two-way security and data access controls. The game has persistent monitoring for any data access or security concerns. Moreover, the game security threat assessment and incident response teams are operational at all times to mitigate threats.
Third-Party Sharing
As required for the operation of the game, Rush Hour provides certain data to some partners. It does not provide personal data to companies for marketing and advertising, and only the necessary third parties receive pertinent data that is relevant and limited to their area of work.
| Recipient Category | Data Shared and Why |
|---|---|
| Payment Processors | Transaction details, amounts, and currency needed to complete deposits and withdrawals |
| Analytics Partners | Aggregated gameplay statistics to identify stream issues and improve feed quality globally |
| Hosting Providers | Encrypted player records stored on redundant servers maintaining a 24/7 live stream uptime |
| Fraud Prevention Tools | Betting pattern data and IP information to detect and prevent account theft and abuse |
